On August 30th 2022, a meeting was held at Luton Chess Club, in the library of the University of Bedfordshire. Around 12 people came and it was agreed that the club would meet there each Tuesday. It is expected that more members will join the club once the university opens its doors to students for the coming academic year. Should you need further assistance, do not hesitate to ask.
Mark
Are you actually running the club from there Mark – I read your posts with great interest but the fact/fantasy line is sometimes a bit blurred!
Hope all ok in your world anyway. Take care, Steve

Hi Steve. No I’m not running it but am maintaining close relationships with current members and am doing my best to help revive the club as I don’t like the current state its in. They hope to have a team next season and maybe they will, let’s hope so.
Thanks for the comments on the posts. Admittedly, they are becoming too personal as I am so adrift of society and don’t really have anyone to bounce ideas off. I’m not entirely happy with it but can’t seem to stop it! Hope you are well and good. I am not sure when I will be back in Bedfordshire next but not for quite some time I think!
